This was a very long day! I headed to Coors around 1040 and showed up and was parked by 11:10. By the time I walked out back Mark McGwire was pulling up in a cab and signed for all of us out there! I was able to get him sweet spot on a ball. After getting him I headed up front to hang out and wait for Mattingly. While waiting out front Brooklyn walked in (he looked really good, light blue is definitely his color), also walking in was Honeycutt and finally Don Mattingly. Such a nice guy. We had a good short conversation about Puig and how I should have picked him up in fantasy but instead picked up Wil Meyers. Great guy, thanks for taking the time to sign.

Early morning!

After getting Mattingly I headed outback to see who I could get and ended up getting Greinke on a ball which was good. Kemp walked in but for the second day he refused to sign.

After a while I decided to call it quits and put my stuff in the car and went to meet up with Jersey Geoff, Kevin and Tonja for lunch at Falling Rock. After hanging out for a few hours I headed to the backside of Coors Field to get ready to do the flag. Thanks again to EB for inviting me to do the flag.

Once the flag was over we casually strolled around to the first base side and sat and watched the game. I hung out with Tonja, Kevin and Kristin which was nice because it was fun to chit-chat and just watch baseball.

Pitching for the Rockies was Chacin and on the mound for the Dodgers was Capuano.

This photo is blurry but look at how close the runners were with the ball almost at homeplate!

The Rockies decided to get on the board very early in the bottom of the first by a double from Carlos Gonzalez, which scored DJ LeMahieu. Dodgers countered in the top of the 2nd with a Matt Kemp 2 run-homerun, making it 2-1 Dodgers.

In the bottom of the 3rd Rutledge singled which scored Chacin! A few batters later Cuddyer doubled in center which scored Rutledge. The next batter Rosario was able to hit a sac fly and scored Cuddy. At the end of the inning the Rockies were back on top 4-2.

No one scored until the 5th when Rosario batted in Rutledge on a single to center and then top singles to right which scored Cuddy! 2 batter later Colvin had a ground ball to center which scored Rosario, score headed into the 6th was 7-2, Rockies.

In the top of the 6th inning the Dodgers decided to get some runs on the board one by a single by Puig, which scored Punto and then Gonzalez doubled which scored Puig. 8-4 Rockies still on top.

The Rockies ended up getting one of those runs back in the bottom of the 7th by a solo shot from Cuddy to right field making it 9-4 Rockies.

The last run that scored was by the Diamondbacks in the top of the 9th with a solo shot by Adrian Gonzalez.

Final score of this one is 9-5, Rockies avoid the sweep!

No 4th of July is complete without fireworks so here are some photos!
